Pledge of allegiance is Nazism. Swastika = S-letters for socialism. See Edward Bellamy and Francis Bellamy.

Your readers might also find it interesting that the Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of the Nazi salute. Government schools (socialist schools) will never show students the early pledge hand-gesture nor tell them that it was the origin of the stiff-armed salute adopted later by the National Socialist German Workers Party. They will never explain that Francis Bellamy and his cousin (and cohort Edward Bellamy) were national socialists and they influenced the NSGWP and its dogma, symbols and rituals. If they told the truth the pledge would cease to exist (and flag-waving would too). See the work of the symbologist Dr. Rex Curry (author of “Pledge of Allegiance Secrets”). http://rexcurry.net/pledge2.html

German salute came from USA's Pledge of Allegiance, not from Oath of the Horatii by Jacques-Louis David

The early American stiff-armed salute was not an ancient Roman salute. That is a myth debunked by the noted historian Dr. Rex Curry, who showed that the myth came from the Pledge and from various facts including that Francis Bellamy grew up in Rome, N.Y., not Rome, Italy, and thereafter the Pledge salute was repeated in early films (some showing fictional scenes of ancient Rome). The reasons above and more led to the American stiff-armed salute being picked up later by German socialists and the National Socialist German Workers Party (under the influence of Adolf Hitler and the U.S. citizen and Harvard grad Ernst Hanfstaengl, a confidant of Hitler) and by Italian socialists under Benito Mussolini (who discovered the Pledge of Allegiance salute while he developed followers as a socialist journalist writing for socialist newspapers, and later became an ally of the National Socialist German Workers Party). http://rexcurry.net/pledgerome.html

Francis Bellamy never used the term "Roman salute" when describing his pledge's salute and he was not influenced by Jacques-Louis David's painting "Oath of the Horatii." One reason why Francis Bellamy never used the term "Roman salute" in any way is because the concept of the "Roman salute" did not exist when Bellamy wrote his pledge and for decades thereafter. Francis Bellamy clearly explained that his pledge began with a military salute that was then extended out toward the flag. In practice, the second gesture was performed palm-down with a stiff-arm when the military salute was merely pointed out at the flag by disinterested children forced to do Bellamy's robotic chanting daily in government schools. That is how the "Roman salute" myth developed from Francis Bellamy's Pledge of Allegiance and its use of the military salute (and how the USA's Pledge salute led to the Nazi salute). http://rexcurry.net/pledge_military.html

That the concept of the "Roman salute" did not exist when Bellamy wrote his pledge (and for decades thereafter) also means that the concept of the "Roman salute" did not even exist when Jacques-Louis David lived and painted "Oath of the Horatii" and thus David was NOT thinking of a real or imagined "Roman salute" when he painted the Horatii, nor did David ever use the term "Roman salute." The Horatii lie (that the painting was the origin of the "Roman salute" myth) first appeared on Wikipedia, deliberately fabricated by a liar to cover-up Dr. Curry's discovery that the Pledge was the origin of the Nazi salute. In the painting, 3 brothers are reaching for weapons (and the two figures in back are reaching with their left hands). The same liar who created the Horatii lie had, until he was debunked, previously claimed that the stiff-armed salute was an actual ancient Roman salute, and he posted the lie that Roman statues displaying "adlocutio" (a gesture made by a person speaking) showed the "ancient Roman salute" that he claimed was adopted by Bellamy.  The newly substituted Horatii lie has been mindlessly repeated by many people (as the adlocutio lie was repeated and still is) because wakipedia glorifies itself as an encyclopedia, even though it is merely an anonymous bulletin board where anyone can post anything. http://rexcurry.net/roman-salute-oxford-english-dictionary.html

Hitler salute came from USA's Pledge of Allegiance, not from Jacques-Louis David Oath of the Horatii

You should enjoy the following esoteric points that are known to almost no one.  They are virtually unknown due to misrepresentations spread by wikipedia/wakipedia, the anonymous bulletin board masquerading as an encyclopedia (It is odd that people cite wikipedia, in that for it to be cited "intelligently"(?) one would have to include the date and exact time cited in that wakipedia changes by the milisecond, and is often changed
deliberately to contradict the very reason someone cited it. By citing the date and exact time it might be possible for a reader to view the history of changes and find the actual article cited as it existed at that point in time).

The top esoteric point to be made here is a rebuttal of the bonehead who posted on wakipedia that the Jacques-Louis David painting "Oath of the Horatii" is the origin of the stiff-armed salute.  Lots of people repeat that mindlessly because they see it on wakipedia.

The bonehead who originally posted the horatii lie did it in an effort to cover-up discoveries by the noted symbologist Dr. Rex Curry concerning the pledge of allegiance as the origin of the stiff-armed salute. It is interesting to note that the wakipedia comment about the horatii claim never explains that the pledge use of the gesture did not come from the horatii painting, rather the pledge’s use came from the military salute extended out toward the flag. That and other points are examples of the deliberateness of misrepresentation in the wakipedia posts, intended to mislead people into believing that Francis Bellamy (author of the Pledge of Allegiance) was inspired by the David painting, when there is no evidence at all of that, just the opposite.

Wikipedia liars also never mention that government schools required the salute and Bellamy's chanting by law daily for three decades (and
persecuted anyone who refused) before German National Socialists did the same, because they want everyone to believe it was simply the Horatii
painting that inspired German socialsists, and there was no impact from the USA's government schools that required the salute and Bellamy's chanting by law
daily for three decades (and persecuted anyone who refused). To the liars, the Bellamy/pledge activity was of no import and is meaningless, whereas the
horatii painting explains everything, even though no one (e.g. Hitler, Bellamy, David) mentions it at all in regard to any "roman salute gesture."

Even Jaques-Louis David never used the term "Roman salute" as the concept of a "Roman salute" did not even exist during David's life (check the etymology of the
term "Roman salute" -a check that is glaringly never referenced by wakipedia nor by anyone who repeats the Horatii myth -the myth that the "Roman salute" concept came from the painting "Oath of the Horatii." There is more in a link below).
The Roman myth came from the Pledge of Allegiance.

Francis Bellamy never used the term "Roman salute" as the term did not exist at the time he wrote the pledge, and he did not reference David, and he specifically explained how the salute developed: the pledge began with a military salute that was then extended out toward the flag. Bellamy did not even intend for the palm do be down, but in practice it became palm down due to the disinterest of children forced to perform the robotic daily chanting (they merely extended the military salute out toward the flag, without turning the palm up). It had nothing to do with any "Roman salute" myth, because the myth did not exist at the time that Bellamy wrote the pledge and for some time thereafter.  The "Roman salute" myth came from the Pledge of Allegiance, not vice versa. There is more on that topic in one or more of the links below (for example, Francis Bellamy grew up in Rome, N.Y., where, believe it or don't, people referred to themselves as "Romans," and sometimes they do today).

The Horatii myth (that the "Roman salute" came from the painting "Oath of the Horatii") exists because liars on wakipedia used to claim that the salute actually was an ancient Roman salute (and lots of people repeated that myth and still do repeat that myth because of wakipedia and because they haven't been updated on the newer Horatii lie on wakipedia). Dr. Curry pointed out the cupidity of the wakipedians and the falsity of the Roman salute myth to the point that it became so embarrassingly obvious that they could not persist in re-posting the ancient Roman salute myth any longer, and they could not dispute Dr. Curry’s discoveries that the stiff-arm salute came from Francis Bellamy's use of the military salute extended toward the flag. The wikipedia liars deliberately looked for another explanation, in an effort to pre-date Bellamy as the source. The liars on wakipedia saw the Horatii painting, saw people with their arms extended outward in the painting, and they fabricated and substituted the "Horatii myth" for their "ancient Roman salute myth ("substitute" is an accurate word because they did the same thing when they claimed that the stiff-armed salute actually was an ancient Roman salute: they would pick out any artistic representation from ancient Rome that showed any person with his arm in the air, and they would declare that to be the "Roman salute" (they have done the same now with the Horatii painting)).

Anyway, now you know some things that are essentially not known to almost anyone else on the planet.

Here is an article recently sent to another boob who repeated the Horatii myth because of wakipedia (it repeats some of the points above).

This is posted to correct errors in the January 18, 2008 article "Questions Answered: Roman salutes..."

The USA's Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of the salute adopted later by the National Socialist German Workers Party.

Wikipedia (Wakipedia) has spread the lie that the gesture came from the Jacques Louis-David painting Oath of the Horatii. That myth
originated on wakipedia in an effort to cover-up the discoveries of the noted symbologist Dr. Rex Curry. Even David never used the term
"Roman salute" as the concept of a "Roman salute" did not even exist during David's life (check the etymology of the term "Roman salute" -a
check that is glaringly never referenced by wakipedia nor by anyone who repeats the Horatii myth). The Roman myth came from
the Pledge of Allegiance.

Francis Bellamy never used the term "Roman salute" as the term did not exist at the time he wrote the pledge, and he did not reference David,
and he specifically explained how the salute developed: the pledge began with a military salute that was then extended out toward the
flag. Bellamy did not even intend for the palm do be down, but in practice it became palm down due to the disinterest of children forced to
perform the robotic daily chanting (they merely extended the military salute out toward the flag, without turning the palm up).

The Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of the Nazi salute (and the swastika -although an ancient symbol- was used to represent crossed
S-shapes for "socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers Party).

Francis Bellamy (cousin of author Edward Bellamy) was a socialist in the Nationalism movement and authored the Pledge of Allegiance
(1892), the origin of the stiff-armed salute adopted much later by the National Socialist German Workers Party. See the work of the
symbologist Dr. Rex Curry. http://rexcurry.net/pledge2.html

The early pledge began with a military salute that was then extended out toward the flag. In practice, the second gesture was performed
palm-down with a stiff-arm when the military salute was merely pointed out at the flag. Thus, the military salute led to the Nazi salute in
the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States. http://rexcurry.net/pledge_military.html

It was not an ancient Roman salute. That is a myth debunked by Dr. Curry, who showed that the myth came from the Pledge.
http://rexcurry.net/roman-salute-oxford-english-dictionary.html

Another explanation for the "Roman salute" myth is here http://rexcurry.net/bookchapter1a1f.html

American national socialists (including Edward Bellamy), in cooperation with Madame Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society,
popularized the use of the Swastika (an ancient symbol) as a modern symbol for socialism long before the symbol was adopted by the National
Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis) and used on its flag.
http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html

See also
http://rexcurry.net/45th-infantry-division-swastika-sooner-soldiers.html

The Bellamys influenced the National Socialist German Workers Party and its dogma, rituals and symbols (e.g. robotic collective chanting
to flags; and the modern use of the swastika as crossed S-letters for "Socialism" under German National Socialism). Similar alphabetical
symbolism was used under the NSDAP for the "SS" division, the "SA," the "NSV," et cetera and similar symbolism is visible today as the
VW logo (the letters "V" and "W" joined for "Volkswagen").
http://rexcurry.net/bookchapter4a1a2a1.html

The Bellamys wanted the government to take over all food, clothing, shelter, goods and services and create an "industrial army" to impose
their "military socialism." See the video documentary at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BssWWZ3XEe4

It is the same dogma that led to the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): ~60 million killed under the former Union
of Soviet Socialist Republics; ~50 million under the Peoples' Republic of China; ~20 million under the National Socialist German Workers'
Party. http://rexcurry.net/socialists.html

Today, the flag symbolizes authoritarianism in the USA. The historical facts above explain the enormous size and scope of government today,
and the USA's police state, and why it is growing so rapidly.  They are reasons for minarchy: massive reductions in government, taxation,
spending and socialism.

New discoveries show that American soldiers used the swastika as their symbol early in World War I, and up to 1941, against Germany. The symbol was used by Americans in the French Escadrille Lafayette, by the 45th Infantry Divison, and on Boeing P-12 planes. http://rexcurry.net/45th-infantry-division-swastika-sooner-soldiers.html

The discoveries are in the growing body of work by the historian Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets"). He has previously shown how socialists in the USA originated the modern swastika as overlapping "S" letters for "Socialists" joining together in a utopian "Socialist Society." Decades later, it was used by the National Socialist German Workers Party. http://rexcurry.net/swastika3swastika.jpg

There is also evidence that the U.S. flew Spad XIII Fighter planes that bore swastikas in WWI. see  http://rexcurry.net/american-swastika-wwi-spad-xiii-fighter.jpgand http://rexcurry.net/american-swastika-wwi-spad-xiii-fighter2.jpg The photos show swastikas that are not in the S-direction, however, it is possible that the actual fighters bore swastikas in the S-direction, or in both directions, or that the modern plastic models (1984 American Plastic Model Co. Ltd, made in Korea) were designed to distance the U.S. military from the use of the classic S-direction swastika that pre-dated such use by the National Socialist German Workers Party.

There is also evidence that the military still uses swastika symbolism in the Navy's Coronado Seabees Barracks in California (as shown below and/or in this photo).
http://rexcurry.net/swastika-building-coronado-seabees4L-shapes1960.jpg

During the time when American soldiers adopted the swastika, the symbol was associated in the USA with the growing popularity of "military socialism," a dogma touted by Edward Bellamy, the American author of the international bestseller "Looking Backward," (1887) known as the bible of National Socialism.
Swastika Luck Star Protect your from Bullets & Shells
A postcard from that period and made in the USA bears a swastika and the wording: "Lucky Star - May this emblem protect you well from every bullet, every shell." http://rexcurry.net/45th-infantry-protect-from-bullet-shell.jpg

It is interesting to note that the swastika employed by the military in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics also combined the swastika with the star. http://rexcurry.net/ussr-socialist-swastika1919-1920cav-red-army-prikaz.jpg

The symbol was also famous in the USA as alphabetical symbolism for socialism in the Theosophical Society (TS), from 1875. http://rexcurry.net/theosophy-madame-blavatsky-theosophical-society.html

In 1888, the Theosophical Society teamed up with Bellamy's Nationalist movement for military socialism.  The "Bellamy swastika" spread.

By 1915, the symbol was also widely popular as an ornamental "Good Luck" symbol, as in a 1915 postcard showing the American flag posed favorably with a swastika and the phrase "May our glorious flag and this lucky star guide you and keep you wherever you are."http://rexcurry.net/swastika-flag2.JPG

The swastika was also on American cars (e.g. the Krit Motor Car Company of Detroit) long before it was associated with German cars and the Volkswagen VW. Was the Krit logo the design inspiration for the hakenkreuz under the NSGWP? http://rexcurry.net/krit_motor_car_company_detroit.html

For more information on the swastika as alphabetical symbolism see http://rexcurry.net/swastika-hakenkreuz.html

By adopting the symbol, American soldiers influenced the swastika as an alphabetic symbol of socialism around the world, where the symbol had previously been a generic ancient symbol.

Graduates/victims of government schools may find it hard to believe: Americans used the straight-arm gesture, wore swastika shoulder patches and flew planes adorned with swastikas in war against Germany, and they did it all decades before the same was done under the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP).  The USA was the origin of that behavior under German National Socialism. The Bellamys influenced the NSDAP, its dogma, symbols and rituals.

Similar behavior was promoted by Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. http://rexcurry.net/pledge-of-allegiance-scouting.html

Look at the ignorance at this blog post for librarians http://librarytypos.blogspot.com/2010/02/socialst-etc-for-socialist-socialism.html
It asks "who gave socialism a bad name?" and then only mentions Adolf Hitler. Here is the response that was sent: You commit the classic stereotype of mentioning only Hitler & German National Socialists, who came in a distant(?) third place in murders/atrocities in the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): Stalin & and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics with ~60 million killed; Mao and the Peoples' Republic of China, ~50 million; Hitler and the National Socialist German Workers' Party, ~20 million). http://rexcurry.net/socialists.jpg

Those are only some of the many groups/people who gave socialists/socialism a bad name.  It causes people who want to rehabilitate socialism to hide the truth and lie about it.

The typo Socialst appears eight times in OhioLINK, along with Socalis* three times, and Socailis* twice. What's in a name? Not that much, it seems, but if you have to choose one, go with something snazzy. (Note: Naziism is a variant spelling of Nazism, but Nazzism would be a typo.)
http://rexcurry.net/socialism.html

The groups/people who committed the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part?  Stalin and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics with ~60 million killed; Mao and the Peoples' Republic of China, ~50 million; Hitler and the National Socialist German Workers' Party, ~20 million). http://rexcurry.net/socialists.jpg

Some people would say that the socialist typos AND YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT THEM reveal more than you intended to reveal. It certainly seems that way to people who know the facts above. You have committed a classic stereotypical error that many people recognize even if you don't.

You might also wish to recall that Mao started out with guidance and support from Stalin, and that Stalin and Hitler invaded Poland together as allies in a pact to divide up Europe (and in an apparent contest to see who could kill the most people, which Stalin won hands down, err bodies down). Actually, Stalin, Lenin and Soviet Socialism also had a head-start on Hitler.

You should help update your readers about Hitler's place among people who gave socialism a bad name and also explain the "typo" socialist "Wholecaust."

In "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" a dead collector with a cart shouts "bring out your dead" and then takes and kills someone who is not yet dead.

The Monty Python scene is comedy. But under Stalin and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics it actually happened. For example in the Ukraine where Soviet Socialists stole everyone's food and abandoned them to starve to death by the thousands each day, adding up to millions murdered.  Socialism's dead collectors would take people who were not yet dead (it saved a second trip the next day).

The Monty Python scene is set in medieval times during the plague (an actual disease).  The Soviet Socialist scene in the Ukraine was set in modern times and did not involve any actual disease at all.

People had very strange beliefs in the middle ages concerning religion, sciences, spirits, disease, et cetera. The people in the middle ages seem almost insane compared to people today (and "modern knowledge"), or even when compared to what people knew during the time of Soviet Socialism.

Yet, in the modern era, socialists set and hold the worst records in all of human history in the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part). When compared with modern socialists, the people in the middle ages seem like super-geniuses.

We do not all have to be in the                same government boat even if all of us continue to live on this continent. There is nothing sacred about the Union, the U.S.A., or the U.S. Constitution. It has not been written anywhere that we must be "one Nation, under God, indivisible." The parts about "one Nation" and "indivisible" do not appear anywhere in my Bible, which is the Holy Bible. The Pledge of Allegiance was written in 1892 by one Francis Bellamy. It has been an annoyance to schoolchildren ever since. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, FRANCIS BELLAMY, EDWARD BELLAMY, BELLAMY SALUTE & NAZISM
Bellamy salute image http://rexcurry.net/francis bellamy.jpg and photograph

Franklin Delano Roosevelt & the Nazi Salute and the Pledge of Allegiance

Government in the USA popularized the straight-arm salute for three decades before Nazis began doing the same thing. The salute developed in the USA from 1892 in the Pledge of Allegiance (to the flag) in government schools. From there its use expanded to parades, with spectators saluting passing flags, military officials, other government officials, and politicians. There were uses outside of parades in gestures to and from politicians, legislators, government officials, and military officials.
http://rexcurry.net/book11pledge-ch2a1a.html

The salute was used during the National Anthem and was used at sporting events. It was used by the USA's athletes at Olympic Games.
http://rexcurry.net/bookchapter1a1c1.html

The salute was used by Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. http://rexcurry.net/pledge-of-allegiance-scouting.html

The National Socialist German Workers' Party began in 1920, and the USA continued to expand its use of the salute. Congress did not attempt to inject itself into the mess until it adopted the Flag Code on June 22, 1942. That is after the USA entered WWII.

What is commonly called the "German Greeting" was, in a sense, the "American Greeting" first.

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt robotically chanted the Pledge of Allegiance with the Nazi salute and he was sometimes saluted in that way by civilians. see the photograph at
http://rexcurry.net/bookpic-nazi-salute-fdr.JPG

Photographic examples exist of the Nazi salute used outside of the Pledge of Allegiance by FDR's underling, General Hugh Johnson, head of the National Recovery Administration. Hugh Samuel Johnson (1882-1942), an army officer and politician, often gave the salute. In one photograph (Granger Collection, N.Y.), Johnson presents President Roosevelt to a group of industrial leaders in Washington, D.C. on March 5, 1934 and Johnson uses the straight-arm salute (FDR is holding the arm of Secret Service aid Gus Generick). see the photograph at

A common myth on the web is that "Roosevelt instituted the hand over the heart gesture." A web search for the quoted  phrase suggests that the lie originated from evil wikipedia writers who post lies. Wikipedia is an anonymous bulletin board that is misrepresented as an encylopedia. It is misrepresented so effectively that other sites identified as reference sites will blindly repeat lies that are posted on Wikipedia. That repetition of lies is shown by the Roosevelt quote above. A web search for the quote produced the following inaccuracy: "Because of the similarity between the Bellamy salute and the Nazi salute, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt instituted the hand-over-the-heart gesture as the salute to be rendered by civilians during the Pledge of Allegiance and the national anthem in the United States, instead of the Bellamy salute. This was done when Congress officially adopted the Flag Code on June 22, 1942."  The most accurate part is the last sentence, which reveals that the salute changed after the U.S. had entered WWII. Roosevelt did not institute the hand-over-the-heart gesture (Congress attempted to start the switch), nor did Roosevelt do so because of the similarity between the "Bellamy salute" and the "Nazi salute." As is often the case, no source is cited in Wikipedia, because there is none to cite. The Nazi salute had been used by the National Socialist German Workers' Party for approximately two decades before 1942, and the U.S. developed and used the salute from 1892. Wikipedia's anonymous bulletin board changes by the nanosecond, and at the time of the above comment, the entire article was a study in deliberate and artful deception. http://rexcurry.net/wikipedia-lies.html

Dr. Rex Curry (author of Pledge of Allegiance Secrets) showed that the early Pledge to the USA's flag used a straight-arm salute and it was the origin of the salute to the swastika flag under the monstrous National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazis). Frightening photographs are at http://rexcurry.net/pledge2.html

The Pledge began with a military salute that then stretched out toward the flag.  Due to the way that both gestures were used sequentially, the military salute led to the Nazi salute. The Nazi salute is an extended military salute. http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-pledge.html

The person who created the pledge to the USA's flag was a self-proclaimed socialist in the nationalism movement in the USA and he called his dogma "military socialism" and it influenced socialists in Germany, and his pledge was the origin of their salute to the swastika flag. "Nazi" means "National Socialist German Workers' Party."  Although the swastika was an ancient symbol, it was also used sometimes by German National Socialists to represent "S" letters for their "socialism," as shown by Professor Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets"). Hitler altered his own signature to use the same stylized "S" letter for "socialist" and similar alphabetic symbolism still shows on Volkswagens. http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html

National Socialism conjures up visions of neo-classical buildings, big government economic programs, state funded art, labor camps, concentration camps, leaders in open cars wearing capes, militant rallies, and segregation imposed by law in government schools (socialist schools) where racism is taught as public policy.  All of those and more existed under FDR and before him in the USA. http://rexcurry.net/bookchapter5a1.html

Written in 1892, the pledge's robotic chanting and stiff-arm salute spread with help from patriotic groups in the 1920s, prominent among them the Ku Klux Klan.

John Benton Bellamy (son of Francis Bellamy, author of the Pledge of Allegiance) was graduated from Harvard with the class of 1904 and President Franklin D. Roosevelt was a classmate. (Berkeley Daily Gazette - Jun 14, 1944).

Francis Bellamy promoted Nazism in America

The original pledge had nothing about the United States...It was a pledge to "My Flag"...It was designed to get kids to start group thinking like good little socialists should.

For those who do not know and for those who only recognize “accepted history”, the Pledge of Allegiance was written by Francis Bellamy in 1892. Francis Bellamy was a SOCIALIST!

DANIEL RUTH, ELAINE SILVESTRINI, TAMPA TRIBUNE NEWSPAPER & JOURNALISM

Daniel Ruth & Elaine Silvestrini Newspaper News

Uh, Daniel Ruth? Start Packing Your Bags !!

The first true news source to announce the layoff of Daniel Ruth, other layoffs and the deteriorating format of the Tampa Tribune newspaper was RexCurry.net. The paper, part of the merged
Tribune/WFLA-Ch. 8/ TBO.com, has already gone through several rounds of job reductions.
Executive Editor Janet Coats communicated with urgency: “... I’m worried that if we don’t change how we think about this further it won’t matter what falls through the cracks because we’ll have no readers.”

Partial blame for the Tribune's decline goes to two writers: Daniel Ruth and Elaine Silvestrini. The mess follows    mere weeks after "Daniel Ruth LaRouche" and "Elaine Silvestrini Mussolini" were exposed in public debate challenges.
That coincides with the time when the newspaper said to the kook: "Uh, Daniel Ruth? Start packing your bags!" http://rexcurry.net/daniel-ruth-elaine-silvestrini.jpg

Silvestrini and Ruth are part of a widespread problem at the newspaper: ignorant writing and hate-mongering. Earlier Layoffs at the Tribune followed shortly after a previous defeat of Ruth by Dr. Rex Curry (See any internet search for "Tampa Tribune lays off").

http://rexcurry.net/elaine-silvestrini-tampa-tribune.html

After Ruth's previous loss the response against the crack-pot from the general public was so great that Ruth said he was labeled a "Dork, anti-free market statist, $#%!&, Dummkopf, liberal, daffy, dolt, stupid, dunce and, oh by the way, socialist."
On another occasion, Ruth admitted publicly that locals have labeled him "bigot, prejudiced, hateful and ignorant" among many other similar insults.

Ruth publicly apologized to Dr. Curry for Ruth's errors. http://rexcurry.net/ruth.html

Elaine Silvestrini also acknowledged publicly her error regarding Dr. Curry (although she did not apologize, of course).

The ackowledgement of errors by Ruth and Silvestrini were too late, as the Tribune continued its tailspin down the toilet. Ruth and Silvestrini are causing spectators to wager on when the Tribune will be out of business.
http://rexcurry.net/daniel-ruth-tampa-tribune.html

Silvestrini and Ruth are news repeaters. The term "repeaters" and "reporters" is synonymous, although "repeaters" explains more about radio, TV and print news people like Silvestrini and Ruth: they repeat claptrap   that is spouted by government and government officials. They repeat it as if it is serious, rational and important. That is what happens to "news" media in a police state.  They repeat the national socialist dogma of their newspapers ("national socialist" is what "nazis" called themselves, and it is necessary to point that out in case the newspaper's readers (both of them) read this because that fact rarely, if ever, appears in the rag).

The Tribune is collapsing under the internet and under Dr. Curry's internet work (taking top spots on the web for exposing Silvestrini, Ruth and the Tribune). Silvestrini and Ruth are learning the hard way why the Tribune is losing under the web. A google search for Elaine Silvestrini shows that top spots are the RexCurry.net page (and others) exposing her. A google image search for Elaine Silvestrini shows similar results. Similar resullts show in searches for Daniel Ruth. Videos expose them in the top spots in searches on Youtube.com for Elaine  Silvestrini, Daniel Ruth, and Tampa Tribune. For years, RexCurry.net has been a top spot in a google search for Daniel Ruth, after Ruth's previous humiliating defeat, and that explains why Daniel the near-sighted loopy leperchaun [sic] remains bitter, thin-skinned and sour.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BssWWZ3XEe4

That is why Dr. Rex Curry makes important discoveries that enlighten the world forever, while Elaine Silvestrini and Daniel Ruth overlook important discoveries (that they could have made) during lives of name-calling, hate-mongering and bad writing.

Silvestrini and Ruth repeat propaganda as if it were the pledge of allegiance that they were taught to repeat in government schools (socialist schools). That is why they failed to make the historic discoveries that were made by the symbologist Dr. Curry, including the following:

1. The swastika (Hakenkreuz), although an ancient symbol, was used to represent crossed S-shapes for "socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers Party. Ruth and Silvestrini have been using the word "nazi" for so long that it could be described as "nazi" propaganda: The actual name of the group (National Socialist German Workers Party) never enters their heads. They have probably never written the actual name of the group in their newspaper (check it yourself). Their thinking on the topic is as shallow as repeating the pledge of allegiance. As a consequence, they never understood the significance of the etymology, the group's true name, what the group's members called themselves (they did NOT call themselves "nazis"). All of the above, combined with their desire to rehabilitate the deadly dogma of socialism, is why they could never discover that the swastika was used to represent S-shapes for "socialism" under German National Socialism.

2. That the Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of the stiff-arm salute adopted later by the National Socialist German Workers Party. They are so locked into the myths that they could never do anything but repeat shallow propaganda about the pledge.  They never gave it any thought or research at all, and it would never enter their minds to try.  Even if they ever heard that Francis Bellamy was a socialist in the nationalism movement, they would have been too ignorant to make any comparisons to "Nazis" because they are too stupid to know that "Nazis" were German National Socialists. If they ever even started down a mental path to such thoughts, they would have quickly stopped because of their desire to rehabilitate socialism.  They don't want anyone to know, or to think about, Francis Bellamy as a socialist in the nationalism movement, and the Pledge of Allegiance as the origin of the stiff-arm salute adopted by German National Socialists.

Recently, Silvestrini and Ruth were schooled by RexCurry.net about the Pledge of Allegiance's past. Flag fanaticists Silvestrini and Ruth had been what is known as "pledge virgins" until they were rexed up one side and down the other. They were so ignorant that they did not know that the Pledge was the origin of the German National Socialist salute. Heck, they were so ignorant that they did not know that the early Pledge used a stiff-armed salute. They did not know that the stiff-arm salute developed from the military salute. They were so stupid that they did not even know the etymology of the term "Nazi." They did not know that German  National Socialists did not call themselves "Nazis." They did not know that members of the NSDAP referred to themselves as "socialists"; They were so stupid that they did not know that the N-word is not in "Mein Kampf" nor in the film "Triumph of the Will" (as two examples), yet the word "socialist" is there in stereotypically droning socialist fashion. They did not know (until schooled by RexCurry.net) that German National Socialists did not call their flag symbol a "swastika" (they called it a Hakenkreuz,"hooked cross"). They did not know that German National Socialists sometimes used their cross symbol to represent crossed S-letters for their "socialism."  http://rexcurry.net/pledging-allegiance-photographs.html

Believe it or don't, Silvestini and Ruth used to be as ignorant as most Tampa Tribune employees. But not any longer.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/7894913@N08/2861433181/

In articles about the web site, Silvestrini and Ruth did not dispute the work of the noted historian Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets").
http://rexcurry.net/silvestrini-elaine-tampa-tribune-pledge.jpg

Silvestrini, Ruth and the Tampa Tribune promote flag fanaticism. They promote fanaticism by covering up the history of the Pledge of Allegiance. In an article printed in the recent past, Silvestrini mentioned both flag fanaticism and swastika fanaticism.
http://rexcurry.net/elaine-silvestrini-tampa-tribune.html

Their employer, the Tampa Tribune, is a so-called newspaper that has never published a historical photograph      of the Pledge's early stiff-arm salute, nor explained the Pledge's relationship to the National Socialist German Workers Party, its dogma, its salute, its symbols and its rituals. Silvestrini and Ruth have also never informed their readers about new discoveries concerning the Pledge's past.
http://rexcurry.net/silvestrini-elaine-tampa-tribune.jpg

If there has ever been an article about Francis Bellamy (author of the Pledge of Allegiance) in the Tampa Tribune newspaper it repeated the usual shallow propaganda common to most "news" outlets.http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-pledge.html

In that way, the Tampa Tribune perpetuates flag fanaticism by repeating tired cliches through reporters such as     Silvestrini and Ruth. They keep their readers ignorant. A youtube.com video reveals morehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BssWWZ3XEe4

Silvestrini's and Ruth's writing is similar to robotic chanting in worship of the state. They pledge allegiance to growing government and attack anyone who does not join them. Their writing is robotic repetition of cliches taught by the government and learned in government schools (socialist schools). Ruth and Silvestrini share a style of writing that is common in modern journalism: They mislead in order to cover up the important issues. They believe that the purpose of government is to provide service, and the purpose of the media is to provide vaseline. http://rexcurry.net/saying-the-pledge-of-allegiance-pictures.html

Think of the Tampa Tribune as a torture and terrorism conspiracy (as its readers think of it; both of them). That makes Elaine Silvestrini a co-conspirator with unreadable Ruth. After Ruth's previous loss to Dr. Curry, the response against Ruth from the general public was so great that Ruth said he was labeled a "Dork, anti-free     market statist, $#%&!, Dummkopf, liberal, daffy, dolt, stupid, dunce and, oh by the way, socialist."http://rexcurry.net/ruth.html

Ruth's use of "socialist" is telling in that Ruth covers up for the National Socialist German Workers Party and its deadly dogma. The neo-nationalist Ruth has probably never written the actual name of the group "National Socialist German Workers Party" in the Tribune (check it yourself). Instead he uses his favorite hackneyed misleading shorthand for the group.

On the Tribune's fascistic flag fanaticism, Ruth and Silvestrini have been influenced by America's most notorious National Socialists, Francis Bellamy and Edward Bellamy. Ruth's economic ignorance equals or exceeds Edward Bellamy's.  Silvestrini and Ruth add to the public perception of their profession as "news nazis."

USA influenced USSR w socialism & chanting pledges to flags etc. USSR did not survive. Will USA?

swastika union of soviet socialist swastikas of Soviet Socialism 1917 Stalin Mao Hitler Nazism
A lot of fascinating research examines how socialists and their propaganda have haunted the world. Many authors worry today about a future filled with persecution and global socialism. Those worries find relevance in the enormous size and scope of government worldwide.

After 1917, socialism was imposed in Russia when the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) was formed after the Russian Revolution of 1917, and the Russian Civil War of 1918-1920. The propaganda machinary introduced a new symbol for the new government: the swastika.
http://rexcurry.net/ussr-socialist-swastika-cccp-sssr.html

The Soviet swastika was so popular that paper money printed with the dates 1917 and 1918 carried large swastikas in the center of the bills (on denominations of 250, 1000, 5000, & 10,000). Three of the denominations bore three separate swastikas across the front (the 250 denomination bore one swastika). The Soviet swastika notes continued to be issued after the 1917 revolution(s). http://rexcurry.net/ussr-socialist-swastika1917-1000b.JPG

In 1919, the same 250 ruble note that had carried the swastika carried at the very top of the soviet socialist bill the phrase "Proletarier aller Länder vereinigt Euch" in the German language and in English (Workers' of the world unite!") and in other languages.  The USSR was actively and openly spreading socialism in Germany (and globally) and using non-russian languages to do so: German, English, and other languages that use the "S" letter for words like "Soviet" and "Socialist." The 250 ruble note also contained Soviet Socialism's new version of the soviet swastika: the hammer and sickle. http://rexcurry.net/swastika4.gif

A similar fad grew in Germany, where the swastika symbol was popular with socialists and became the sign of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSGWP).

The double-S symbol of the swastika was used as a socialist symbol for an alternative to the widespread symbol for capitalism and capitalist money (the dollar sign or "$"). http://rexcurry.net/socialisthate.html

Although the swastika was an ancient symbol, the USSR and Germany followed the lead of socialists in the USA in using the swastika as a symbol for socialism. http://rexcurry.net/theosophy-madame-blavatsky-theosophical-society.html

Soviet Socialists and German Socialists also saw that the swastika was adopted by American soldiers in the 45th Infantry Division and in the Escadrille Lafayette Americaine during World War I and adorned American soldiers' shoulder patches, flags and planes used in the fight against Germany. http://rexcurry.net/45th-infantry-division-swastika-sooner-soldiers.html

The swastika was also on American cars (e.g. the Krit Motor Car Company of Detroit) long before it was used under Soviet socialism or German socialism (i.e. German cars and the Volkswagen VW). Was the Krit logo the design inspiration for the hakenkreuz under the NSGWP? http://rexcurry.net/krit_motor_car_company_detroit.html

Through the work of socialists in the USA, the USSR, and Germany respectively, the swastika became a global symbol of socialism.

At the time that the Soviet swastika began, there existed the Petrograd Soviet of Workers' and Soldiers' Deputies, usually called the Petrograd Soviet. It was the soviet (workers' council) in Petrograd (Saint Petersburg), Russia established in March 1917.  A workers' soviet had been created in Saint Petersburg (the name for Petrograd before the First World War had begun) in 1905 (the St Petersburg Soviet). This was a group of workers and soldiers who had formed in 1917. Soviets were rather like councils. Thus the "Soviet socialist" concept existed at the time that the crossed S-letters of the Soviet Swastika were used in Russia. The Swastika's two crossed S-letters symbolized "Soviet Socialism." That concept eventually evolved into the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Eventually, Soviet socialists switched from the swastika to the hammer and sickle. The hammer and sickle resembles the earlier Soviet swastika flipped horizontally. The USSR's hammer and sickle might have been intended as a visual reminder of the Russian version of its own earlier swastika.

The swastika flag under German National Socialism was influenced by the Soviet swastika and by the hammer and sickle of Soviet socialism. The swastika of German socialists and the hammer and sickle of Soviet socialists have visual similarity. Each symbol resembles the other symbol pointing in the opposite direction.

In the same way that the swastika was two "S" letters crossed to represent socialists joining together, the hammer and the sickle were crossed to represent workers joining with peasants, or factory workers joining with agricultural workers.

At that time, the swastika was also a symbol of "superior society" or the "super society of socialism" for the new "super socialist man" in the New World Order (NWO).  To learn more see George Bernard Shaw "Man and Superman" (1903), read about his visit with Stalin (the socialist tsar / czar) in the 1930s, and consider this quote from his letter to Henry James of 17 January 1909: "I, as a Socialist, have had to preach, as much as anyone, the enormous power of the environment. We can change it; we must change it; there is absolutely no other sense in life than the task of changing it. What is the use of writing plays, what is the use of writing anything, if there is not a will which finally moulds chaos itself into a race of gods."  Having visited the USSR in 1930s, Shaw became an ardent supporter of Stalin and Soviet Socialism. After being duped by a carefully managed tour of the country, Shaw declared all the stories of the socialist Wholecaust were slander. In private, Stalin disparaged Shaw. Shaw was asked why he did not want to stay permanently in the "earthly paradise" of the Soviet Super Society.

The Soviet swastika was unusual to most swastikas (but the same as the German swastika) due to these features: it was 45 degrees to the horizontal (in a diamond shape), it was pointed clockwise, it was squared at its corners, and it was proportionally the same as the swastika used later by German National Socialists. Swastikas can point either way and are often flat on one side. The Soviet swastika and the German swastika were the same swastika. The swastika had been used by socialist groups in Germany before 1917, however the earlier use was never the same as the Soviet swastika, and the symbol was almost always flat on one side and likely to point in either direction. When German National Socialists altered their swastika it occurred after the debut of the Soviet swastika in 1917. The definitive version of the swastika under German National Socialism (e.g. the version on the flag) was inspired by the Soviet swastika.

The Soviet swastika's unusual orientation emphasizes the appearance of alphabetic "S" lettering.

Although the swastika was an ancient symbol, the historian Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets") discovered that it was also used sometimes by German National Socialists to represent "S" letters for their "socialism."  The leader of German National Socialism rotated the symbol 45 degrees and had newer uses oriented clockwise. Adolf Hitler altered his own signature to use the same symbolism, and similar alphabetic symbolism still shows on Volkswagens. http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html

The NSGWP's use of the swastika as "S" letters in alphabetic symbolism for "Socialism" was inspired by the Soviet swastika. The USSR's swastika was seen as a union of "S" letters for "Soviet Socialist" as in the "Union of Soviet Socialist Republics" (In German: "Union der Sozialistischen Sowjetrepubliken"). After the swastika became the symbol of German National Socialists, the symbol was altered to represent intertwined "S" letters for "Sieg Socialism" (Socialist Victory) or "Socialist Solidarity" or representing socialists from different groups joining together under the NSGWP (especially after other groups were banned in another example of German socialists copying Soviet socialists).

If the acronym "USSR" used a swastika to replace the two "S" letters, then it would illustrate the symbolism of the Soviet swastika, similar to how it appeared in the center of paper currency under Soviet socialism.  In 1917, some Soviet Socialists might have interpreted the symbol more generally as "Soviet Socialists" or "Union of Soviets" or "Union of Socialists" ("Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh" or "Soyuz Sovetskikh" or "Soyuz Sotsialisticheskikh" from "Soyuz Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Respublik" or SSSR).

German National Socialists and Soviet Socialists have a history of  aping each other.  The flag color for German National Socialists was influenced by Soviet Socialists.

Even after WWII, Soviet Socialists adopted the swastika style symbolism of the German Trabant Sachsenring car.  http://rexcurry.net/trabant-sachsenring-rex-curry.html

One country mimicked the other in the adoption of the salutes that they imposed on their civilians, and both countries mimicked the United States (the origin of their salutes). Dr. Rex Curry showed that the USA's early Pledge of Allegiance (to the flag) used an extended-arm salute and it was the origin of the salute of the German National Socialists and Soviet Socialists. Francis Bellamy created the pledge to the USA's flag, and he was a self-proclaimed socialist in the nationalism movement in the USA. The USA's original pledge began with a military salute that then stretched out toward the flag. Dr. Curry showed that, due to the way that both gestures were used sequentially in the pledge, the military salute led to the salute adopted later by German Socialists and Soviet Socialists. Their salutes are extended military salutes via the USA's pledge. http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-pledge.html

Bellamy's original pledge stated that the palm should be turned upward with the arm gracefully curved upward. In actual practice in the USA, the second part of the gesture was performed with a straight arm and palm down by children who merely extended the military salute while perfunctorily performing the forced ritual chanting. That was the origin of the hard stylized salute adopted later by German National Socialists. See the video documentary at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BssWWZ3XEe4

The Soviet socialist salute is arguably closer to Bellamy's first description of the Bellamy salute because in the USSR the arm is in more of a military salute position, and maintained in a curved position as if the American salute was started but not completed. Soviet socialists then followed the American practice of not turning the palm upward. http://rexcurry.net/ussr-cccp-sssr-young-pioneers-salute1.jpg

Videos can be viewed on the web (e.g. Youtube) of Soviet socialist children performing the gesture and worshipping flags in the manner adopted from the USA. The videos can be found under searches for "Soviet Pioneer Song: May There Always Be Sunshine" (Russian song name: "Пусть всегда будет солнце"
Official song name: "Солнечный круг") and the Young Pioneers organization.

The USA had been performing Bellamy's socialist chanting, military salutes/nazi-salutes, and flag worship for about three decades (from 1892) before Young Pioneers under Soviet socialism adopted the America's bad habits.  The Young Pioneer Organization of the Soviet Union (Всесою́зная пионе́рская организа́ция и́мени) began in 1922. It was a mass youth organization of the USSR for children of age 10-15 in the Soviet Union between 1922 and 1991.
http://rexcurry.net/pledge2.html

The National Socialist German Workers’ Party began in 1920, gained electoral breakthroughs in 1930, dictatorship in 1933, and in 1939 it joined as allies with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics to invade Poland in a Pact to divide up Europe, spreading WWII. http://rexcurry.net/socialists.html

They USSR embraced the swastika symbol even more then, and the hammer and sickle was displayed proudly next to and in partnership with the socialist swastika.

The dogma of socialists in the United States, Germany, Russia and elsewhere led to the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): ~60 million slaughtered under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; ~50 million under the Peoples' Republic of China; ~20 million under the National Socialist German Workers' Party. http://rexcurry.net/socialists.jpg

Hitler salute & Olympic Oath gesture from USA's Pledge of Allegiance

Hitler Salute in USA: Los Angeles, California
Hitler Salute Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Ducommon Yards, Hitler salute & Nazi salute in USA, Hilter salute

THERE ARE NO "COINCIDENCES"

The American "Hitler salute" is shown in the following photograph of employees at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power at Ducommon Yards.
http://rexcurry.net/pledge_of_allegiance_1930_los_angeles.jpg

The stiff-armed salute to the flag is not something they do a lot of in the USA anymore. Back in the day, the straight-arm gesture was huge in America, but not so much now. The Pledge of Allegiance (1892) was the origin of the stiff-armed salute adopted later by the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSGWP), as shown in the discoveries of the symbologist Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets"). Francis Bellamy, author of the pledge, and his cousin Edward Bellamy, were socialists in the nationalism movement in the United States and they influenced the NSGWP, its dogma, symbols and rituals. The pledge was written to debut for the Columbian Exposition 1893 Chicago World's Fair.

A fan suggested that the photo date is October, 1930, however cars in the photograph might indicate that the date is later (possibly as late as 1939) according to another fan. The flag was raised over the agency. It is another example of how the American salute was spreading outside of laws that forced children to chant it in government schools (socialist schools). http://rexcurry.net/saying-the-pledge-of-allegiance-pictures.html

The German-American Bund, a group that supported German Socialism and of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, was popular in southern California at that time. In 1930, no one knew how the War would go in regard to the USA. http://rexcurry.net/pledgebund.html

Note that Los Angeles was the location for the Olympics in 1932 where America's straight-arm salute continued to spread worldwide. The Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of the official Olympic stiff-arm salute which confuses people to this day in later scenes of the Olympic salute at the Nazi Oympics in 1936 in Berlin and Munich, where the Olympic salute is shown along with its twin, the Hitler salute. http://rexcurry.net/bookchapter1a1c.html

Here is a photograph of the Olympic Oath by George C. Calnan in Los Angeles in 1932. http://rexcurry.net/olympic_oath_los_angeles_1932_george_calnan.jpg

Here is a photograph of the olympic oath by Geo Andr`Prète in Paris in 1924. http://rexcurry.net/olympic_oath_paris_1924.jpg

Today, adults do not want loudspeakers interrupting them every morning to command their mechanical chanting ala the dystopian book "1984"! Nevertheless, adults allow their children to be so abused in government schools where parents surrender their children. Adults also submit on occasion to the mechanical chanting due to bullying and peer pressure.

Here is a description of the Olympic Oath in Los Angeles in 1932. Consider how familiar the act was to Americans who had been performing the stiff-armed salute in the Pledge of Allegiance for four decades, since 1892.

"The voice of the announcer sounds again. It is introducing Lieutenant George C. Calnan, of the United States Olympic Team, who will take the Olympic Oath. A tall figure, erect and military, ascends the rostrum on the field as a hushspreads over the audience. He grasps the American flag with his left hand andraises his right to the sky. All over the field the athletes raise their right hands. Then, in a loud clear voice, come Lieutenant Calnanís words : 'We swear that we will take part in the Olympic Games in loyal competition, respecting the regulations which govern them and desirous of participating in them in the true spirit of sportsmanship for the honor of our country and for the glory of sport.' "

In 1892 (the year the Pledge of Allegiance was created in the USA for the Columbian Exposition 1893 Chicago World's Fair), Baron de Coubertin gave his long speech at a conference celebrating the 5th Anniversary of the establishment of the Union of French Societies of Athletic Sports (USFSA), which favored his idea to revive the Olympics. The first revived games were the 1896 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.

Written by Baron de Coubertin, the oath is taken by an athlete from the host nation while holding a corner of the Olympic flag. The athletes' oath was first taken by Belgian fencer Victor Boin at the 1920 Antwerp Games. It is unknown whether the American stiff-armed salute was used by Boin in 1920.

Coubertin might have been involved in starting scouting organizations in France.

Pledge of allegiance is Nazism. Swastika = S-letters for socialism. See Edward Bellamy and Francis Bellamy.

MEXICAN FLAG SALUTE & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE IN SPANISH

EMILIANO ZAPATA & MEXICO'S SOCIALIST REVOLUTION
EDWARD BELLAMY & THE USA's SOCIALIST MOVEMENT

Mexico adopted socialist flag salutes that originated in the United States (from 1892). The National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis) also adopted the U.S. flag gesture America's stiff-arm salute) after it had been used in the USA for decades.

The stiff-arm salute was not an ancient Roman salute. The "ancient Roman salute" is a myth, as shown by Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets").

It is part of Dr. Curry's work exposing the Roman Salute: cinema, history, ideology and myths.

The Pledge of Allegiance in the USA originally began with a classic military salute (to the forehead) that was then extended out toward the flag. The initial military salute was sometimes performed from the chest. In practice, the 2nd gesture was performed palm down because children simply extended the military gesture outward.

The Pledge was written by a National Socialist (Francis Bellamy) who wanted military socialism in the USA, Mexico, Germany and worldwide.

The history of Mexico is the subject of a lot of research, including the influence of socialist dogma in the country. Much of the work overlooks the historical impact upon Mexico of the socialist movement in the United States.

Socialists in the USA share blame for the poverty of socialism in Mexico, as shown in the work of the historian Dr. Rex Curry. Edward Bellamy's book "Looking Backward" (1888) and Francis Bellamy's straight-arm salute in the "Pledge of Allegiance" (1892) both influenced Emilio Zapata (1910), the leader of Mexico's socialist revolution.

Bellamy wanted his Pledge of Allegiance to spread globally and that is why Bellamy's original pledge did not reference the "flag of the United States of America." Bellamy wrote his pledge so that it could be used in any country. He wanted to spread military socialism worldwide. Bellamy also organized a World Youth Congress in 1892. http://rexcurry.net/francis-bellamy-daily-gleaner-kingston-jamaica.jpg

Edward Bellamy was the author of the "Looking Backward from 2000 to 1887."  The book was an international bestseller and was tranlsated into every major language including Spanish, German, Russian, and Chinese. It appears by title in many of the major Marxist writings of the day. Clubs sprang up in the USA and worldwide for touting the book's ideas.

The influence of socialists in the USA was so strong that the first socialist revolution occurred in Mexico (1910) preceding the revolutions of the countries of the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): ~60 million dead under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; ~50 million under the Peoples' Republic of China; ~20 million under the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSGWP).

Militarism was specifically promoted in the USA in 1888 as "military socialism."
http://rexcurry.net/military-socialism-militarism-socialist-complex.html

The Pledge of Allegiance (1892) to the U.S. flag originally began with a military salute. The pledge was written by Francis Bellamy, cousin and cohort to Edward. The pledge was created to promote their military socialism in the most socialistic institution: government schools (socialized schools). They wanted government to take over all schools and create the "industrial army" from children to spread the Bellamy vision. The Bellamys admired the military and they wanted all of society to ape the military under a martial law system.

The military salute to the chest (as well as the stiff-arm gesture) that is used in Mexico originated in the United States and is more consistent with Bellamy's original Pledge of Allegiance than is the current hand-over-the-heart in the United States.  http://rexcurry.net/pledge-of-allegiance-images.html#THE_TRUE_SALUTE

The pledge's military salute was extended toward the flag with a straight-arm gesture and thus, Francis' early pledge was the origin of the straight-arm salute of German National Socialism as discovered by the historian Dr. Rex Curry, author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets." Thus, what is called the "Nazi salute" is more accurately called the "American salute." Shocking photos are on the web.

People were persecuted for refusing to pledge or to perform the straight-arm salute to the national flag.  That was to the flag of the USA (the stars and stripes) and of Germany (the swastika flag) as it happened at the same time.  Some religious people considered it sacrilegious. There were good reasons to view the pledge/salute as the worship of government. Most people do not know that a cross was worshiped as the notorious symbol of German National Socialism. The NSGWP called their symbol the Hakenkreuz, not the swastika. Hakenkreuz means "hooked cross." Although the swastika was an ancient symbol, Professor Rex Curry (author of "Swastika Secrets") discovered that it was also used sometimes by German National Socialists to represent "S" letters for their "socialism."  With a 45 degree turn of his Hakenkreuz, the leader of the NSGWP combined the cross with collectivism, merged church and state, meshed religion and socialism, and mandated the worship of government. http://rexcurry.net/book1a1contents-swastika.html

The Bellamy desire for government schools (and their use for socialist militarism) was a monstrous example to the world for decades and still is.

Many socialists who adopted later the straight-arm salute (e.g. the National Socialist German Workers' Party), knew that the salute was being used in government schools in the U.S. to promote the military-socialism complex.

Jewish children were forced to perform the socialist straight-arm salute in government schools in the U.S. long before the National Socialist German Workers' Party existed, and for years thereafter while the horrid party tried to impose socialism everywhere.

Government schools (socialist schools) expelled children who did not perform the original salute and pledge to the U.S. flag.

Bellamy belonged to a group known for "Nationalism," whose members wanted the federal government to nationalize most of the domestic economy. He saw government schools as a means to that end.   It was a view later shared in the military-socialist complex of the socialist trio of atrocities.

In his Pledge of Allegiance, Francis Bellamy is expressing the ideas of his first cousin, Edward Bellamy, author of the American socialist utopian novels, Looking Backward (1888) and Equality (1897).

Bellamy’s “Looking Backward” is about a man who sleeps from 1887 until the year 2000.  The United States has become one giant socialist monopoly (excuse the redundancy). The book openly portrays men treated as military draftees, from the age of twenty-one until the age of forty-five, in the U.S.’s industrial army.  Before the age of twenty-one, men attend one enormous school system of government schools that are an integral part of creating the industrial army in the socialist system. Bellamy’s glorification of the military includes government assignment of all jobs.  Everyone is issued ration cards which are used to draw goods from government storehouses. Everyone is forced to have only the same amount in value annually.

Of course, all of the preceding is portrayed as a dandy utopia just as it was in the military socialist complex of the socialist trio of atrocities and elsewhere.

The book was translated into 20 foreign languages.  It was popular among the elite in pre-revolutionary Russia, and was even read by Lenin's wife. John Dewey and the historian Charles Beard intended to praise the book by stating that it was matched in influence only by Das Kapital.

"Some people say that the Pledge Of Allegiance should not be recited in Spanish. They are correct because the Pledge should be recited only in German, Russian, or Chinese."  -Fan

In 2009 a bill was proposed in Congress that would forbid federal funds to any school that allows any student to say the Pledge of Allegiance in any language other than English. It is interesting to note that Francis Bellamy, author of the "Pledge of Allegiance" wanted his pledge to spread globally and that is why Bellamy's original pledge did not reference the "flag of the United States of America." Bellamy wrote his pledge so that it could be used in any country. He wanted to spread military socialism worldwide. Bellamy also organized a World Youth Congress in 1892. http://rexcurry.net/francis-bellamy-daily-gleaner-kingston-jamaica.jpg

Here: A Biography of the New American Continent by Anthony DePalma (Hardcover - June 19, 2001) p 269 "When our children attended school in Mexico, they began each day reciting the Mexican pledge of allegiance with the right arms outstretched stiffly in a pose uncomfortably close to a Nazi salute.
(the writer did not know that it was the gesture of the early American Pledge of Allegiance).

In the book "Hate crimes revisited: America's war against those who are different" - Page 122
Jack Levin, Jack McDevitt - Social Science - 2002 ... "At Sprayberry High School in Cobb County, Georgia, a group of skinheads purportedly gave Nazi salutes and shouted "Heil Hitler" while reciting the pledge of allegiance."
(niether the authors nor the skinheads knew that it originated as the gesture of the early American Pledge of Allegiance).

The USA under Franklin Delano Roosevel -FDR- followed German national socialism in many ways: Social Security with its Nazi numbering of everyone and the Pledge of Allegiance in government schools.  Jehovah's Witnesses began refusing to perform the stiff-arm salute to the German flag and the American flag at the same time. They were persecuted by the government in both countries for refusing to perform the stiff-armed salute to the nation's flags.

Anyone who has had to endure yet another flag-raising ceremony during televised Olympic events might have viewed the ceremony for Mexico and witnessed the military salute to the chest that Mexico adopted from the United States' early Pledge of Allegiance..
